KTM LC8 oversized water pump kit by Ambro Racing

The oversized impeller is a component designed to increase the cooling capacity of the system.
The kit is made by Ambro Racing from anodised 6082 aluminium with a special base that lifts the cover, increasing the (hydrodynamically tested) coolant flow by 52% and improving heat exchange.
This modification allows the bike to be stressed less (thermally) during hot periods without compromising anything during cold periods since the thermostatic valve is able to compensate for the increase in cooling (simply by remaining more closed).
To increase the flow rate with the same engine rpm, a simple increase in the surface of the impeller blades is used, obtained thanks to the insertion of a special spacer placed between the motor base and the water pump cover.
The kit can be installed on all LC8 engines:
